I welcome the announcement that the Jigsaw mental health service for young people in county Roscommon will re-open in July. Since this excellent service closed in February, I and my oireachtas colleagues have been working hard to ensure that the decision was reversed and that the resources be provided to not only keep the service going but to enhance it as well. Far more needs to be done in the area of mental health services in Roscommon and Galway but the re-opening of this service is good news and I will continue to campaign vigorously for improved mental services throughout the country and particularly in rural areas.
