Safe Link Funding For 2015 Welcomed

The news this week that funding for the Safe Link service will be maintained in 2015 is welcome. I and other public representatives have lobbied hard on this very important issue in recent weeks and I will be continuing my efforts to have this funding secured not only for this year but into the future. Safe Link provides an invaluable service for the women of county Roscommon and hopefully the commitment from Tusla on funding will be confirmed in writing this week. I will be redoubling my efforts to ensure that funding for Safe Link and for counselling services for domestic violence and abuse at Vita House is maintained into the future.
