I have today welcomed the sanction received for road for upgrades and resurfacing in Tuam area . The following roads are in programme for 2016:
Kilcroan /Kilsallagh (124,000 Euro), Scotland Glenamaddy (47,000 Euro), Pollshask/ Knockaunes (58,000 Euro), Skahard/ Milford (40,000 Euro), Moate /Gortnadeeve (42,000 Euro), Stonetown/ Clooncun (150,000 Euro), Sraide Shannagh (40,000 Euro), Shankhill (40,000 Euro) Barna (40,000 Euro) Cloonlara / Frass (17,000 Euro), Cloondaragh/Ballymoe (7,200 Euro,) Baunoges (92,000 Euro), Rookwood/Gortmorris (52,000 Euro), Cashel (34,000 Euro), Gortnaliam (163,000 Euro), Bogtown (45,000 Euro) .
There are a few roads that more monies will also be allocated for and I would like to thank Cllr Des Joyce for his help . I will publish the list of 2017 roads in the overall plan and also we will be looking at CIS schemes that will be applied for when it opens,
