Public Meetings On The National Planning Framework Over the Next Ten Days

I am planning to hold a number of important public consultation meetings with regard to the National Planning Framework in the West and North West over the next ten days and I am appealing to everyone with an interest in the development of rural Ireland over the next 20 years to attend. Public submissions have to be in by Thursday 16th March and I am asking that community groups, farmers, small business people and other members of the public attend and have their say and everyone is welcome to attend.

The first two meetings will be held this Saturday 11th March as follows: Bush Hotel Carrick on Shannon at 3pm and at Hannon’s Hotel Roscommon at 6.30pm. I will make a presentation at all the meetings and will then take views and suggestions from the floor.

There will be further meetings in the West and North West over the coming week and I will have the details on my Facebook page and on my Website and Twitter account. It is vitally important that people have their say on the future development of the country and I am once again appealing to everyone who is interested in planning for the future to come along and make their views and ideas known.
