PUBLIC CONSULTATION MEETINGS AHEAD OF THE NATIONAL PLANNING FRAMEWORK
UPDATE
In connecion with public consultation meetings with regard to the National Planning Framework in the West and North West over the next ten days and I am appealing to everyone with an interest in the development of rural Ireland over the next 20 years to attend. Public submissions have to be in by Thursday 16th March and I am asking that community groups, farmers, small business people and other membe…rs of the public attend and have their say and everyone is welcome to attend.
The first two meetings will be held this Saturday 11th March as follows: Bush Hotel Carrick on Shannon at 3pm and at Hannon’s Hotel Roscommon at 6.30pm. I will make a presentation at all the meetings and will then take views and suggestions from the floor.
In County Galway the meetings are as follows:
Monday 13th March:
Gullane’s Hotel Ballinasloe at 5pm
The Ard Ri Hotel Tuam at 8pm
Tuesday 14th March:
Connemara Coast Hotel at 4pm
There are further meetings as follows
Sunday 12th March:
1pm McGettigan’s Hotel Letterkenny
4.30pm Glasshouse Hotel Sligo
7.30pm Farnham Arms Hotel Cavan
It is vitally important that people have their say on the future development of the country and I am once again appealing to everyone who is interested in planning for the future to come along and make their views and ideas known.
