Lough Mask Water Supply Contract To Start This Week

I want to welcome the signing of the contract this week by Irish Water for the extension of the Lough Mask Water Scheme that will provide a new and enhanced supply for the people of Williamstown, Cloonfad, Granlahan, Ballinlough and towards Loughglynn. This is an issue that I and others have been working hard on for the past number of years and I welcome this weeks’ developments. Local people in the area have been very patient with the situation and hopefully the contract will be completed on time and that the issue can be regularised as soon as possible. I will be following up on the matter closely until the work is completed.
