Keep Nursing Graduates At Home

By September 23, 2015No Comments

In the next couple of months 600 nurses will graduate here and the Government must work hard to ensure that the vast majority of those graduates are employed in the health service here in this country. Minister Varadkar was on the national airwaves on Friday claiming that progress on the waiting lists and the delays at accident and emergency units was being made. Here is practical way of increasing the number of staff on the frontline and reducing the rate of emigration of our nursing talent and every effort should be made to keep these well educated young nurses at home. We are hearing every day of the improved budgetary situation. Employ these nurses and provide the funding immediately.
