Beef Geonomics Scheme 2014-Latest Payment Details

Following pressure that was put on by farmers and politicians including myself last week, I am pleased to announce that full payment will now be made with regard to the 2014 Beef Geonomics Scheme this year. There were fears that cuts of up to 22% might be imposed, but thankfully full payment will now be made in two stages. Well done to the famers and other politicians who highlighted this serious issue last week and thankfully a successful outcome has ensued. It has now come to my attention that the Department will pay 80% when it is due and the final 20% will be paid in the autumn
