Cuisle Respite and Holiday Centre in Donamon has made a huge contribution to the local economy over the past 20 years and isalso recognised as the leading holiday and respite centre for people with disabilities in the country and it was a pleasure to have been a part of their celebrations over the weekend.
The Cuisle Centre celebrated 20 years in existence over the weekend and it’s contribution to disability services throughout the country is well known and it has made a huge contribution to the local economy with the employment it provides and many a young student has also worked there during the school and college holidays to give them badly needed income. The management and staff at the Centre do a wonderful job and their frendliness and professionalism is a feature of the service at the Centre.
The facilities at Cuisle, which is supported by the Irish Wheelchair Association are state of the art which includes wheelchair accessable fishing facoilities in a beautiful setting close to the River Suck. The centre boasts 34 en-suite rooms and a top class 120 seat restaurant. I want to congratulate the Cuisle Centre and everyone involved for the 20 years that they have served the community and wish them the best of ;luck in the years ahead. I want to also thank them for inviting me to their celebrations over the weekend.
